I have a Sc.D. from Johns Hopkins in Health Policy and Management, as well as a M.S. degree in Environmental Health from the University of Minnesota. My primary area of research is issues of access, utilization, and outcomes to health care services for vulnerable and diverse populations. These include the poor, rural, African Americans, persons with mental illness, and persons living with HIV/AIDS. I also have extensive experience with doctoral program development, designing and implementing overseas programs, and public health competency development.
