About me
I am an anthropologist and an ethnographer. I investigate the legal, political, and policy issues that arise over marine and freshwater resource uses, allocations, management, histories, and stewardship. I am currently investigating the politics of marine spatial planning in California and Canada. I am also working with a group of students, and we are examining various political and social aspects of the upland watersheds in the Los Angeles Basin.
